I’ve removed BlogRush widgets from this blog and On Blogging Australia.
Was it because of their technical issues? Their poor categorisation? The poorer clickthrough rate?
No. I was prepared to give them time to work these things out, based on the theory that things would improve with time.
I had concerns about the way that they were advertising their current purge of flogs and other hangers-on, and went to their FAQ page - it urged me to send an email to their support address. I did this three days ago. No reply. If they were interested in my continuing participation in their learning journey then they would have responded.
I’m not going to waste energy on trying to engage in a comment war with them, or rail against the injustice of it all, or lose any sleep over it. I’ve just voted with my feet (well, mouse in this case). I wish BlogRush well, and the same to all those who choose to remain part of the experiment.
Unresponsiveness is the one unforgiveable sin.
