David Airey has a share-the-link-love project: The Face Behind The Blog. It has four steps:
1st step
Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already show a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.
2nd step
Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference. Here are the others who have participated so far:

A link back to this post is much appreciated, to help create a more personal community!
3rd step
Tag as many others as you like in your post to spread the meme.
4th step
If you link back to me here and send me an email. I’ll add you to the list above. This isn’t absolutely necessary but it does help me to keep track of the collection (I have an idea or two for an ultimate blogger showcase).
Each person tagged should create their own post and repeat the process.
It sounds good to me
Step 1: here I am, in all my glory

Step 2: done, above. There is an updated batch of faces. It isn’t clear if David will be updating this list or not. If you join in, and don’t get a backlink from David, leave me a comment here and I will mention you in On Blogging. The love should continue to be shared regardless
Step 3: I’ve tagged Wendy and David as I read their blogs every day.
Step 4: …and sent David an email.
What do you think? Is it worth joining in from your blog? ![]()

Thank you very much for the link love.
Its great to see how popular the list has become
Hi Andrew,
First off, thanks very much for joining in, and second, great of you to keep the original meme rules (or guides, as rules is a bit strict) alive.
I think it’s great seeing all the new faces and ‘meeting’ people I’d never have done otherwise.
Best of luck in all you do.
Hi Dennis,
you are welcome
Best regards, Andrew
Hi David,
I think that it is a worthy project - it would be good to one day organise all the photos into a big wall, perhaps we can indeed use the photos to create mosaic collages and use these in turn to create art. Maybe a peace sign or a heart made up of all the photos?
I wonder if there is a mashup opportunity there for someone to support cause-based sites such that they could use a photocollage of their supporters as a form of petition? Picture this “This photocollage of a mother holding a child is composed of images of the 120,000 people who contributed to Make Poverty History”.
Best regards, Andrew
Hi Andrew, great to see who Facibus is. I find it interesting that the name of the blog matches this post so well!
Hi Robyn,
thank you for your comment.
I hadn’t even noticed the title… thanks for the heads-up
I will change the title now.
Facibus Reviews is one of my other blogs, how embarrassing
Best regards, Andrew
hello! I also join this wonderful meme!
Added you in my list. Please add me, too.
MikaMika at http://www.TextUnli.com
Have a wonderful day!
Regards!
Hi Mika,
have done, happy to do so

Good luck with it
Best regards, Andrew
Amazing Idea! This will surely create a new community of bloggers themselves…
Hi Sneezy,
thank you for your comment
I think that it already has - I’ve received a lot of link love from this one post, and emails from participants - it has been worthwhile and I can recommend it to anyone.
Best regards, Andrew
