Like a lot of bloggers, I check my reactions on Technorati every day or two. Today I was asked to fill out a survey - it seemed a reasonable request so I agreed.
I gave my age and then was asked which state of the USA I lived in. Because I live in Canberra, Australia, I selected “Live outside the USA”. At that stage, I was (from memory) less than 10% through the survey according to the progress bar.

Now that was the wrong answer
What country-specific demographic data does a site like Technorati need? Should I have lied and said I was from Alabama to find out? Should I be worried as a non-US user of Technorati? I am not sure.
