Canberra Blog Community

You may have noticed this little pretend-feed icon in my left hand sidebar:

I’ve started a community site for Canberra bloggers. I thought about using one of the dozens of available social networking sites, but I’m a bit oversubscribed on them at the moment and blogging is what I do, so a blog it is (and I grant that your mileage may vary on this point, and if so, please let me know).

This is what the About Canberra Blog Community page says:

Canberra Blog Community is about just that - a community for Canberra and area bloggers. Making us aware of what is out there, making contact, and of course, sharing the link love :)

If you want a mention here please email Andrew on facibus AT gmail DOT com.

And if you would like to identify as a member of the Canberra Blog Community, feel free to put the widget in your sidebar:

Canberra Blog Community

The widget code with link is:

<a href=”http://canberrablog.org”><img src=”http://canberrablog.org/canberrablog_org_80×15.gif” alt=”Canberra Blog Community” /></a>

It’s all about sharing the link love, folks :) If you want to promote your blog and you live in the vicinity of the national capital, feel free to get in touch with me and I’ll review your blog or just throw a blogroll link in, your call.

PS: If there is interest we should do the Canberra blogger’s get together meetup thing.
