Kathy Sierra hasn’t posted since the 6th of April, yet she is still well within the top 100 in the blogosphere according to technorati.com.
I post a lot, perhaps more than I should, probably going for whatever is in my head at the moment (which is fairly random over the last couple of days, I’ve been suffering from a wierd head cold-like virus). Kathy Sierra is deservedly top 100 - she’s made a lot of people think, which is a good thing - for instance, who has ever coded and was not touched by Code like a girl? It is a shame that the death-threats and bad vibes made her quit blogging.
How often do the top bloggers post? Of technorati’s top 100 bloggers, as at right this minute, 28 have not posted in the last 24 hours. Some have not posted in weeks. So what is their secret?
A random aside: some bloggers are getting into traditional writing in a big way - check out the advice from Tim Ferris on problogger. It is a bit of a twist on the “I’ll write a blog to promote my book” angle ![]()
