My Top 5 from day 3 of the Problogger writing competition are:
- 5 ways to guage a blogger’s maturity level by Bes Zain: Bes talks about emotional maturity and how it can influence the reader experience - I like it - it is about blogging from the heart.
- To 5 reasons not to post to your blog: looks at why people prevaricate and don’t blog.
- Top 5 wierd things I’ve learnt about Japan: just read it, you’ll see why I picked it
- Top 5 reasons to move from free hosting: my comment says it all - “It is good enough to be a standard reference on the topic - rather than rewriting advice on getting our own hosting, we should be just linking to here.”
- My Blogging Swiss Army Knife: Top 5 Essential Sites for Bloggers: this is an intelligently written post on blogging resource sites and it is worth a look. I’ll be following up on the recommended resources myself, maybe there is something in them for you too.

Thanks for the link love!
You’re welcome Jenn
It is the best explanation of its type that I have seen - I’ll use it whenever I have to make a point about why bloggers shouldn’t use free hosting once they decide to get serious.
Best regards, Andrew
Hi, Andrew
Thanks so much for putting me in your top 5
(especially since there were 222 entrants for today!)
As I’ve said over in my comments, there’s some great picks in your posts (both this and previous), that I seriously need to read. I’m going offline from tomorrow afternoon for a couple of days, but maybe I can print some posts out so I can read whilst I’m catching the sun.
Maybe.
Bye for now.
